Oliver Stone’s “JFK”

Warner Bros. releases the political thriller, JFK, directed by Oliver Stone. The film chronicles the controversial investigation by New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, who filed charges against businessman Clay Shaw for participating in a conspiracy to assassinate President Kennedy. The film generated international interest and controversy as well as critical praise. Oliver Stone’s JFK, which was partly filmed on location in Dallas, was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won two for Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
