This image from an original 35mm negative taken by Dallas Times Herald newspaper photographer Darryl Heikes shows the presidential motorcade turning off Harwood Street onto Main Street in downtown Dallas. Secret Service Agent Clint Hill, assigned to Jackie Kennedy, occasionally rode on the rear bumper, as seen in this image, when the crowds grew heavy.
