The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza Announces Fall 2013 Author Series
An unprecedented number of new and updated books about President John F. Kennedy will be published this fall as the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination draws near. The Sixth Floor Museum will highlight many of these anticipated titles and their authors through its Fall 2013 Author Series. All programs and book signings will take place at The Sixth Floor Museum (411 Elm Street, Dallas, TX). Seating is limited for most programs; tickets for each are available online.

PROGRAM AND BOOK SIGNING WITH HUGH AYNESWORTH
Hugh Aynesworth covered the Kennedy assassination as a journalist for The Dallas Morning News. Aynesworth, a four-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, has also worked for the Washington Times, Newsweek magazine and ABC's 20/20. He will share memories of the assassination and sign copies of his book, November 22, 1963: Witness to History. The program is free but tickets are required.

PROGRAM AND BOOK SIGNING WITH BILL MINUTAGLIO AND STEVEN L. DAVIS
Writers Bill Minutaglio and Steven L. Davis will discuss and sign copies of their new book, Dallas 1963, an in-depth exploration of the swirling forces that led many people to warn President Kennedy to avoid Dallas on his fateful trip to Texas. Moderator will be KERA’s Jerome Weeks. Tickets are $25 per person.

PROGRAM AND BOOK SIGNING WITH BOB HUFFAKER, GEORGE PHENIX, BILL MERCER AND WES WISE
Former KRLD journalists Bob Huffaker, Bill Mercer and Wes Wise will be joined by former KRLD photographer George Phenix as they discuss memories of covering the Kennedy assassination in a new edition of their book, When the News Went Live: Dallas, 1963. A book signing will follow. Tickets are $10 per person or included with Museum exhibit admission, pending availability.

Celebrated political scientist and analyst Larry J. Sabato—himself a teenager in the early 1960s and inspired by JFK and his presidency—will explore the fascinating and powerful influence Kennedy has had over five decades on the media in his new book The Kennedy Half Century: The Presidency, Assassination, and Lasting Legacy of John F. BOOK SIGNING WITH CLINT HILL AND LISA MCCUBBIN
Author and former Secret Service Agent Clint Hill and co-author Lisa McCubbin will sign their new book, Five Days in November. Admission is free but a program-only ticket or Museum exhibit admission is required for entry.
Program tickets do not include admission to The Sixth Floor Museum exhibit. All books will be available for purchase in the Museum Bookstore and Museum Store + Café.
