Press RoomMUSEUM APPOINTS VETERAN FUNDRAISER JUDY IVEY TO DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza has appointed Judy Ivey to Director of Institutional Advancement. In this key leadership position, Ms. Ivey will establish a new Development Division as the Museum seeks to build support to help fulfill new project initiatives, particularly in the areas of education, exhibit and collections programming. This new position will also oversee the marketing and communication activities of the organization."The Sixth Floor Museum is in the midst of incredible transformative growth," said Executive Director Nicola Longford. "Judy is a dynamic asset to our team, and we look forward to further expanding the Museum's strategic endeavors to achieve community awareness, attendance and financial goals."
Ms. Ivey brings more than 20 years of professional development experience to the institution, with 12 years in the museum profession. Most recently, she worked for the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History where she was Director of Grants and Annual Giving. Prior to that, she worked at the Amon Carter Museum. Ms. Ivey is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
